Keep Calm and Spot Treat

By simply applying a poultice paste to the area in question, covering it with plastic wrap, and sealing it with painters’ tape, you can treat the stain and prepare it for removal. From there, you simply allow the area to dry for 12-24 hours, scrape the paste from the area, then wipe the area thoroughly with a warm, damp cloth.
